From making and working the dough to shaping a variety of loaves, this hands-on class will teach you to master the basics of bread making. You’ll leave with the confidence to make and bake a range of great tasting loaves at home, plus armfuls of fresh-baked bread to enjoy with family and friends.

What will you make during the class?

You will make a yeasted dough and learn to prove and shape it into a tin loaf, rolls and flatbread. In addition, you will mix and bake a crusty soda bread. You’ll take home all these breads to enjoy at home. We will also bake some rolls to enjoy with lunch on the day.

Where are classes held?

Classes are usually held in central Epsom, with parking on site and close to public transport links.

How much is the class?

The class is £85 per person. A light lunch is included on the day.

Will you need to bring anything?

You will just need to bring an apron and some bags or boxes to use to transport your breads safely home.

Will there be time for questions during the class?

Class sizes are limited to allow maximum individual attention and there will be plenty of time to ask questions during the day. You will also have my contact details should you have any bread making queries after the class ends.

Detailed notes will be provided so that you can continue baking bread at home straight away.

Is there the option to buy a place on the class as a gift?

Yes, gift vouchers are available for all my classes via this link. Vouchers can be sent either via email or post, with payment accepted via PayPal (no account required and you can use a credit or debit card) or BACs.
